Where in the World is the Church? - Francis A. Schaeffer Society Reading Group Discussion

Where in the World is the Church? - Francis A. Schaeffer Society Reading Group Discussion In-Person

The Francis A. Schaeffer Society of SEBTS sponsors a reading group for undergraduates, graduates, faculty, and staff. Meetings will be led by Dr. Bruce Little and modeled after Francis Schaeffer’s evening discussions with visitors and students at L’Abri. Join us to examine and discuss some of the current ideas shaping our parent culture. This will be a great opportunity to develop ways of thinking about our world and formulate responses to present challenges based on historic Christianity. Light refreshments will be provided for each meeting.

The Fall 2017 reading group discussions will focus on The Benedict Option by Rod Dreher. In order to make this time together profitable, those attending are expected to read the first three chapters of The Benedict Option prior to our first meeting. We will also discuss future plans for the reading group and opportunities to pursue Francis A. Schaeffer studies at Southeastern during this inaugural meeting for the academic year.
