The John H. Sailhamer Room

The Sailhamer Room contains the personal library of Old Testament scholar and educator John H. Sailhamer. This room was designed to facilitate Old Testament and Biblical Language instruction and study by creating a space in which faculty and students can interact with the Sailhamer Collection.

The room is also available for general faculty instruction, SEBTS staff meetings, and recurring student study groups with a particular scholarly focus. The room is not available as a general study room and is not intended to be used as a replacement for assigned classroom space.

If you are a SEBTS faculty or staff member wishing to reserve the Sailhamer Room during Chapel or other hours not available for booking through this page, please contact archives staff directly at or 919-761-2329.

Individual researchers wishing to examine books from the Sailhamer Collection should visit the Archives Research Room (LIB 216).
